That's a great start. One thing to check: most work policies end when you leave the job, and they're usually small, often one or two times salary. Do you know how much yours is and whether you can keep it if you change jobs? A personal policy stays with you no matter where you work.

Absolutely, this affects them most. Would it help to set up a quick three-way call so I can answer their questions directly? Or I can send you a one-page summary tonight. Which works better?
Objection"I'm young and healthy, I don't need it."
That's exactly why this is the best time. Coverage is cheapest when you're healthy, and the rate stays fixed for the whole term. Waiting means paying more later, or possibly not qualifying. Who would be affected financially if your income stopped?
Objection"I'm too old / sick to qualify."
Many people think that, but there are options built for exactly that situation, including plans with simplified or guaranteed acceptance. Let me ask a few questions and I'll find what you can qualify for. There's no cost to check.

Pre-call compliance checklist
General best practices. Follow your state's rules, your upline's and each carrier's guidelines.
- Confirm my license is active in the client's state before quoting or selling.
- Never guarantee approval, rates or returns. Say "estimated" or "subject to underwriting".
- Read every health question exactly as written. Never answer for the client or coach them on answers.
- Disclose the policy type, premium, and whether the rate is level or can change.
- Never advise a client to cancel or replace existing coverage without a full comparison.
- Get the client's consent before calling or texting, and honor opt-out requests immediately.
- Don't promise anything the carrier hasn't put in writing.
- Keep client information private. Don't share it outside the carrier, Permacare, or the client.
